An ambitious project spanning a number of years, involving dozens of knowledgeable translators and editors throughout Russia, has finally succeded in spreading Yiddishkeit and Chassidus to Russia’s knowledge-thirsty Jews.
A new journal on Chof Av has recently been published. The journal was authored by Shlomo Mordechai Hamburger, a lawyer and a board member of Chabad on Campus International, and published by the Jewish Enrichment Press (JEP).

A Crown Heights man was arrested over the weekend for the assault on two Jewish Crown Heights residents. The man has been charged with a hate crime, as well as assault and other crimes.
Six elderly men were attacked while walking to Shul in the heart of Williamsburg, Monday morning. It happened just after 6:00AM, when the suspects carried out a string of what appears to be attempted robberies. One of the incidents occurred in front of 13 Hooper Street, another by 626 Whyth Place, one by Juliana Pl & Morton St, and one by the Williamsburg “Hitch Location”. The other two robberies were in the same area.
