The 3rd of Tammuz (this year corresponding to Saturday, July 9, 2016) marks the anniversary of passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson OBM (1902–1994). Honoring this occasion, JNet is running a study campaign, encouraging all Jews to unite by studying a sicha.

Crown Heights Gathers on Behalf of Israeli Jewry

In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, a committee of Chabad women known as Crown Heights Women for the Safety and Integrity of Israel brought the Jewish community together on June 26th to pay tribute to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s unparalleled leadership and staunch advocacy for The Land of Israel’s security, territorial integrity and unconditional Jewish settlement throughout the country.

Alternate Side Rules Suspended Monday-Thursday

Alternate side parking (street cleaning) and parking meter regulations will be suspended on Monday, July 4, for observance of Independence Day. Alternate side parking regulations also will be suspended Tuesday through Thursday, July 5-7, for a Muslim holiday. Parking meter regulations will be in effect on those days.
