Mr. Robert Morris Morgenthau, 99, was a prominent lawyer, who from 1975 until 2009 served as the DA for New York County. He also served as US Attorney for the Southern District of NY throughout much of the 1960s on the appointment of John F. Kennedy.
A Jewish man was severely injured Friday morning, after his car fell on him while he was changing a tire on the highway. The man was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, with Critical Injuries.
There are few remnants of the once flourishing Jewish community of the town of Colmar, in France. These items, which were discovered in 1863, all belonged to an unknown family. Some are now on view at the Met Cloisters museum, part of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Yet the ones who base their claim to the land upon the G-d given Torah, where G-d has given it to us as an inheritance, promised to our ancestors, the patriarchs – these people stand loyal to our inheritance.
