Two pressure cookers caused a scare in a Manhattan subway station Friday morning, causing train delays. The pressure cookers were deemed harmless, and surrounding stations found clear as well.
Interior Minister Aryeh Deri (Shas) on Friday approved US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib’s request to visit Israel in order to see her elderly grandmother. On Thursday, Israel announced that Democratic Congresswomen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib will not be allowed to enter Israel due to their support of BDS. On Thursday night, Tlaib sent a request to Israel’s Ministry of Interior to visit her “Palestinian” grandmother on humanitarian grounds.
Two teenagers were seriously injured Friday afternoon in a ramming attack near the entrance to the Gush Etzion town of Elazar, Magen David Adom (MDA) reported. The victims have been identified as a 19-year-old sister and her 17-year-old brother from Gush Etzion. The boy was seriously injured, while his sister was moderately injured. The terrorist has been neutralized.

In an infuriating incident, a Queens Hatzalah Paramedic responding to an emergency Cardiac call was pulled over by an NYPD Highway patrol officer. The officer detained the Hatzalah Paramedic for thirteen minutes, before letting him go with a summons.

Camp Emunah in its 67th summer continues to be the leader in camping in the world of Lubavitch.
On Shabbos nachamu we find comfort in the words of the prophets which we read this Shabbos during the Haftorah. In his letter, the Rebbe gives comforting words to the family mourning the loss of their father, in which he explains the traditional words of comfort we give to mourners : “the A-mighty comfort you in the midst of all mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.”
