Camp Emunah Takes Group Photo

As summer of 5779 is coming quickly coming to a close camp Emunah girls got together to take a camp photo with Rebetzin Hecht at their helm. Camp Emunah Founded by the late Rabbi Yaakov Yehudah Hecht and YBME”C his wife Rebetzin Chave Hecht with the Bracha from the Rebbe. Camp Emunah in its 67th summer continues to be the leader in camping in the world of Lubavitch.

Weekly Letter: The Meaning of Hamakom Yenachem….

On Shabbos nachamu we find comfort in the words of the prophets which we read this Shabbos during the Haftorah. In his letter, the Rebbe gives comforting words to the family mourning the loss of their father, in which he explains the traditional words of comfort we give to mourners : “the A-mighty comfort you in the midst of all mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.”

Stabbing Attack in Old City of Jerusalem

One person was wounded in a terrorist stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem Thursday. According to initial reports, the incident occurred near the Temple Mount’s Iron Gate at just after 6:00 p.m. Thursday. One Terrorist was killed, another wounded.

Jewish Man Attacked in Berlin

German authorities are investigating after a Jewish man was attacked as he walked in Berlin. Police said Wednesday that the 55-year-old victim was walking Tuesday in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district when he was pushed to the ground from behind by two assailants. The victim was wearing clothing identifying him as Jewish at the time of the attack.
