Chabad of Flagstaff Arizona, hosted a celebration for the opening of their new $7 Million Dollar Chabad center on Sept. 5th. The 12,500-square-foot structure that sits on 2.2 acres of land, consists of a synagogue, social hall, kosher kitchen, mikvah, classrooms, offices and guest lodgings.
An arrest has been made in the beating of a Crown Heights Resident that occurred at the end of last month. The man arrested is presently being held in a psychiatric ward of a local hospital.
A Florida man threatened to shoot up a local synagogue and in text messages said he hates Jews. Hanson Larkin, 25, of DeLand, was arrested Friday by the FBI and appeared later that day in Orlando federal court.
