Heritage Quest Concludes its Fourth Year

Heritage Quest, CTeen’s annual trip through Poland and Israel, recently concluded its fourth year. 90 teens traveled back in time through Jewish history in Poland, and continued with visiting and experiencing Jewish life in Israel. Flagstaff Chabad Opens $7 Million Jewish Community Center

Chabad of Flagstaff Arizona, hosted a celebration for the opening of their new $7 Million Dollar Chabad center on Sept. 5th. The 12,500-square-foot structure that sits on 2.2 acres of land, consists of a synagogue, social hall, kosher kitchen, mikvah, classrooms, offices and guest lodgings.

Florida Man Jailed for Threatening to Shoot up Chabad Synagogue

A Florida man threatened to shoot up a local synagogue and in text messages said he hates Jews. Hanson Larkin, 25, of DeLand, was arrested Friday by the FBI and appeared later that day in Orlando federal court. He was charged with making threats using interstate communication, the Miami Herald reported.

Israel Accused of Planting Spy Devices Near White House

An investigation by security forces in the United States has led to the suspicion that Israel is behind the placing of eavesdropping equipment on cellphones in the White House area, Politico reported, citing “three former senior US officials with knowledge of the matter.”
