Eastern Parkway was filled Thursday as people bade farewell to Rabbi Yonah Avtzon OBM, an icon of Crown Heights. Rabbi Avtzon passed away overnight Wednesday night, and due to family flying in, the Levaya was held Thursday morning. As it passed 770, hundreds of community members could be seen accompanying him to his final resting place.
