New “No Parking” signs were added in at least two locations in Crown Heights Thursday. One by Empire Shteible, and another on East New York behind the Beis Rivkah building.

Eastern Parkway was filled Thursday as people bade farewell to Rabbi Yonah Avtzon OBM, an icon of Crown Heights. Rabbi Avtzon passed away overnight Wednesday night, and due to family flying in, the Levaya was held Thursday morning. As it passed 770, hundreds of community members could be seen accompanying him to his final resting place.
