Bar Adam moved to Nevada City, Calif., two years ago from Israel with her husband and two children. When they arrived, they started looking for a Jewish outlet to meet their family’s needs, eventually deciding to shuttle the kids to Chabad in Roseville, about an hour each way, for Hebrew school on Sundays.

Nitsana Darshan Leitner is an Israeli attorney, a human rights activist and the founder of Shurat HaDin Israel Law Centre. She is renowned for the civil actions her law firm has brought against numerous banks and institutions that have aided and abetted Islamic terrorism. In 2014 she was named one of the 50 most influential Jews by The Jerusalem Post. On Tuesday, August 29, she spoke to a packed room at Chabad CBD-Melbourne.
