I was born and raised in Brooklyn where I was educated in the public school system and attended City College, receiving a degree in civil engineering in 1965. After graduating, I served for two years in the U.S. Public Health Service, which allowed me to fulfill my military obligation and left me free to do anything I wanted.

Young Ukraine Shluchim Enjoy Summer Camp

After last years amazing success camp Yaldei Hashluchim Ukraine reopened again for the second time with over 40 kids. Shluchim from all over Ukraine sent their children far away from their place of Shlichus in order to be in an environment of Torah and Mitzvos, an environment of Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit as well as a place filled with fun exciting trips and activities.

It’s been another busy summer for CTeen Headquarters. With four travel programs and a new initiative assisting chapters to facilitate local road trips, CTeen has used the summer months to reach and engage over 200 teens by providing them with an immersive overnight experience. The summer trips, spearheaded by Rabbi Nachman Rivkin, have succeeded in instilling yet another generation of teens with an inspired connection to Yiddishkiet.
