In Virginia, ‘Friends’ Bridge the Generations
Noam Cahana, a sixth-grader at Rudlin Torah Academy in Richmond, Va., was very candid about the whole experience, from start to finish. “When my dad first advised it, I was saying to myself: ‘This is something only for Scouts.’ To my surprise, I really enjoyed it.” He was talking about an after-school visit to an elderly residential home as part of a new program called Senior Circle, courtesy of Friendship Circle.

Oholei Torah PTA hosted an all men’s event benefiting their annual auction this Motzai Shabbos. The crowd enjoyed an auction viewing along with a lavish buffet dinner, sushi and wine bars.

In honor of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s wedding anniversary on 14 Kislev, this week’s Living Torah program is themed around marriage.
