Brooklyn College Library to Create “Hasidism in America” Digital Film Archive

The Brooklyn College Library Archives and Special Collections has received a $150,000 grant from the National Historical Publications & Records Commission (NHPRC) to create a new film archive on Hasidic Jewish culture in the United States.

Missing in Surfside: Moises Rodan

Known for his million-dollar smile and deep passion for Judaism, Moises Rodan graduated just last month with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville. The evening that Champlain Towers South collapsed, he was staying at an apartment on the building’s third floor that belonged to his parents, Ricardo and Diana Rodan.
