Pedestrian Struck Crossing the Parkway
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — It’s the second incident in less then ten days where a Bochur crossing eastern parkway in the middle was run down by a passing car. The most recent incident happened this afternoon at around 2:15pm when an Israeli Bochur attempted to cross in the middle of the street near 770.

Volunteers in the United Hatzalah organization responded to the scene and for a long hour attempted to revive the girl then transporting her to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Shula is the daughter of a Rabbi Yossi and Hindel Swerdlov who work in the Tourisim outreach division of Tzerei Agudat Chabad in Israel, and grandparents Reb Leibel and Miriam Swerdlov in Crown Heights.

I-78, PA — Two 16-year-olds were injured this afternoon when another car reversed into them on a median on Interstate 78 in Williams Township this afternoon, according to state police at Belfast.
Police said Yakov Huebner, 18, of Brooklyn N.Y., pulled into the median at mile marker 75.9 on the westbound side of I-78 at 12:24 p.m. after hearing a noise coming from his car. The teens, a boy from Israel and a girl from Brooklyn, N.Y., who's names were not released due to their age, were outside the car also checking on the tire, police said.

The officers were assigned to Transit Division 32 which are the officers that patrol the subway lines and platforms.
Crash on Empire and Kingston, Multiple Injured
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A high-speed collision in the intersection of Kingston Avenue and Empire Boulevard left havoc in its wake. The incident took place at around 11:30pm and according to eye witnesses both cars, a BMW SUV and a Nissan sedan, were speeding and collided sending both of them into parked cars.
