Lag BaOmer Preparations Getting Underway!
CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — With Lag BaOmer falling out this year on a Sunday, a group of yungeliet got together to plan this years ‘parade’. As it was widely known the Rebbe always showed a special love towards the children, the soldiers in Tzivos Hashem, and how much the Rebbe loved the parade.
In honor of Chof Teves, Yahrtzeit of the Ramabam, JEM has once again joined forces with Tzivos Hashem in a global project to provide children with a unique learning experience. Students in more than forty Chabad schools worldwide will be viewing the Tveryah section of JEM’s recently released “My Land.”

Suspicious Package Shuts Down Kingston Subway Station

A letter sent by Shlomo L., a former student of Yeshivas Nishmas Shlomo, a Yesivah in Tzfas, Israel, known as YNS, thanking “Rabbi O”. Affectionately known by his students as “Rabbi O,” Rabbi Yaacov Orimland established the Yeshivah and is now its Rosh Yeshivah. In the letter the student writes, “When I first arrived to YNS I was confused and lost in direction.” He goes on to say, “I want to thank you for spending those countless hours with me in your office instilling in me the right way and valuable lessons for lifetime.” Rabbi Orimland is known for taking extra care, helping each student on their level.
