Video: JEM interview with Rabbi Menachem Porush

Just over a month ago, on January 12th, JEM conducted a series of important interviews in Israel for the My Encounter with the Rebbe project. Among those interviewed was Rabbi Menachem Porush, of blessed memory. He was 93 years old at the time of the interview.

A representative of the Orthodox Jewish community in the Knesset for over three decades, he merited to have fascinating encounters with the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and with the Previous Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak of Lubavitch.

In honor of Tes Adar, the 9th of Adar, anniversary of the Previous Rebbe’s arrival on American shores in 1940, JEM presents an excerpt of Rabbi Porush’s connection with Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak.
