Photos: Darchai Menachem Goes Skiing

DELAWARE, PA [CHI] — Students of Darchai Menachem who excelled in school and accumulated the right amount of ‘points’ over the last 12 weeks, were all rewarded with a full day trip up to the Shawnee Mountain, a ski resort that’s a two hour drive from Brooklyn, where the students took skiing lessons and spent a day on the ski slopes.

The point system is a multi track way to monitor a childes behavior and academic achievements, which enables the school to give parents a detailed weekly report of every aspect of the kid’s time in school.

What an amazing trip! My son had a blast! Rabbi Bension – you run a truly amazing program. You’ve hand picked the cream of the crop teachers and know how to relate to the children. May you and Goldie continue with success!

Thanks to Rabbi and Mrs. Bension, Rabbi Marozov, and Chayim Perl, for being so tuned in to their students, and for helping them, along with the rest of their amazing staff such as Rabbi Slavin, Rabbi Cohen, Rabbi Majeski, Rabbi Salinger, Rabbi Klyne, etc, etc to attain heights that were not possible elsewhere.

Hashem should bless you all with kol tuv bgur, b’tov hanirah v’haniglah, and may you continue spreading the love of learning and achieving to all your students and beyond.

Nice trip and wanderfull experiance for the student, I am very thankfull to all of you Rabbis at the Yeshiva for this trip! And by the way from the pictures looks like the staff had more fun then the kids(:

I have a feeling that the previous commentator meant to say that the staff had just as much fun as the students, and why not! They certainly work hard enough with the boys to finally get some time off and really enjoy themselves.

Also, if you will remember… this yeshiva had mid winter vacation where the teachers did not get time off, but rather, they were there giving the kids a time to remember with wonderful trips and activities.

So, I’m still sure the last comment meant to say that the teachers had just as good time, and rightfully so!!!
