2 Arrested After Violent Attack on Jewish Student
A Jewish man was violently assaulted and robbed by two black men as he walked on President Street in the heart of Crown Heights. Vigilant police officers together with Shomrim volunteers managed to apprehend both suspects.

Israel’s Consul General Praises JLI Trips

Police Identify Suspect in Jewish Man’s Beating, has Over 40 Priors
Police have identified 40-year-old James Vincent, who reportedly has over 40 prior arrests, as the suspect in the anti-Semitic attack on Rabbi Menachem Moskowitz, on Saturday afternoon. Vincent was charged Friday afternoon with a slew of hate crimes and drug possession.

BREAKING NEWS: Detectives have taken a “suspect” into custody in connection to the hate fueled beating of Jewish man as he was walking home from Shul on Shabbos afternoon.

Weekly Story: Never Extinguished
A few weeks ago was the 30th International March Of The Living in Poland, which was attended by tens of thousands. Many of them were survivors of the holocaust and/or their family members, while others were just concerned individuals. Rabbi Nissan Mangel, one of the youngest survivors of numerous concentration camps was a featured speaker throughout the event. This past Shabbos, parshas Tazria-metzorah, he related one of the more powerful and moving moments.

Following Shabbos Attack, Shul Invites Community
Following an attack on one of their members, the synagogue at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center is inviting the larger Crown Heights community to attend services and a Kiddush in a show of solidarity to the expanding borders of the neighborhood.
