A Lag Ba’omer bonfire and celebration took place for the 33rd year running on Empire Boulevard, in the backyard of the Horowitz family home. Together, the Horowitz family and Rabbi Nachman Twerskei held their annual ‘Hadlokoh’ of a Bonfire in honor of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.
Girls from Beis Rivka High School had a special Lag Ba’omer evening, which included a bonfire as well as a barbecue, arranged by the school administration. The event included meaningful programming for the girls, ensuring that the evening was celebrated appropriately.
This past Shabbos, the Crown Heights community hosted JLI’s Shabbat in the Heights, an annual Shabbaton, that brought Jewish men, women and families from 52 communities across the globe to the Rebbe’s Shchunah to experience Chassidic life in a personal way.
