As the depth of last night’s tragedy in Meron sinks in, the Israeli government has begun to identify the victims who lost their lives. The long process, which includes conclusive identification and contacting of families has so far cleared twelve names for publication.

The month of Iyar is especially auspicious for healing. In this letter – the Rebbe explains that G-d gives a doctor the authority and competence to heal and advises to find a doctor willing to try and treat the patient and to never lose trust in G-d.
A tragedy has occurred in Meron as a bleacher collapsed at the Toldos Ahron Hadlacka, sending tens of people tumbling. Heart-wrenching video from the scene showed as Magen David Adom and Hatzalah Paramedics frantically attempt to pull people from the pile, with many people having CPR done on them.

In honor of Lag B’Omer, Chabad photographer Mordehai Lubecki paid a visit to 10 rue Dieu in Paris, where Rebbetzin Chana lived during her time there. During the three months of her stay in the year 1947, the Rebbe visited her almost every day, and even farbrenged in her house.
