A tragedy has occurred in Meron as a bleacher collapsed at the Toldos Ahron Hadlacka, sending tens of people tumbling. Heart-wrenching video from the scene showed as Magen David Adom and Hatzalah Paramedics frantically attempt to pull people from the pile, with many people having CPR done on them.
$5,000 Scholorships For CTeen’ers Heading To Yeshiva
Swaying a teen to defer college and attend a yeshiva is a feat. Getting their parents on board to pay for it is herculean. Facilitated by CTeen, the Meromim Foundation will be granting 40 scholarships of $5,000 to be used towards yeshiva tuition.

In a new twist to the old grandparent scam, police are warning that the scammer may tell you that someone will come to your door to pick up cash needed to bail your grandchild out of jail. Once you hand it over, your money is gone. But you might get more calls to send money by wire transfer or through the mail.
