Three children were struck by a vehicle in Monticello, on Wednesday afternoon, one of them with a serious leg injury. Catskills Hatzolah was on the scene, and requested a chopper to airlift the child.
A two-year-old child was pulled out of a pool in Jackson, NJ, on Wednesday morning. Lakewood Hatzolah was on the scene at the incident at around 9:30AM, and found the child in cardiac arrest. After working on the child, Hatzolah Paramedics regained a pulse. The child was being rushed to the hospital.
A 21-year-old Lubavitch Bochur R”L drowned on a beach in Mexico. It happened on a beach on the island of Cozumel, a mostly undeveloped Mexican island in the Caribbean Sea. The island is famed for its scuba diving. The victim is a resident of Be’er Sheva.
Police are investigating an incident of anti-Semitism in Ridgewood after residents discovered hundreds of obscene flyers bearing anti-Semitic language near an entrance to the Halsey Street L station in Ridgewood on Wednesday evening.
New Jersey’s right-to-die law just went into effect earlier this month but now a judge has halted it after a Bergen County doctor opposed it. Judge Paul Innes of Superior Court in Mercer County sided the opposition, and has issued a temporary restraining order on the law. Though not required to participate, doctors are required to refer patients to another doctor, which Smith said his client did not want to do.
A Chareidi father was reported missing Monday night, after he and a friend went swimming at a Tel Aviv beach. The incident occurred after two young men went swimming together near the Dolphinarium. One of them came out of the water and reported that his friend had disappeared.
A Frum Monsey father of 7, Reb Dovid Traube, was reported reported missing while boating on Greenwood Lake, which straddles the New York and New Jersey Border. Rabbi Traube had jumped into the lake to save his son who had gone overboard. The son was reported to have been removed from the water, while the father has yet to be found.

An Ohio man was arrested after he appeared in a post on Instagram to threaten an attack on a local Jewish Community Center. A search of his home in the Youngstown suburb found assault weapons, extra ammunition, a gas mask and other items that were seized, according to the report.

Two Brooklyn Residents have been taken into custody in connection with the assaults on six elderly Jews early this week. The assaults had had sent two of the victims to Bellevue hospital with broken bones. Update: Now four arrested.
German authorities are investigating after a Jewish man was attacked as he walked in Berlin. Police said Wednesday that the 55-year-old victim was walking Tuesday in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district when he was pushed to the ground from behind by two assailants. The victim was wearing clothing identifying him as Jewish at the time of the attack.
