Around 12:30pm Saturday, as a Jewish man was walking on New York Ave through the crosswalk on Union Street, a a male black riding his bike on Union street crossed in front of him. As the man drove by he, slapped the Jewish male in the face and stated “You dirty Jew.” The NYPD will be investigating the incident as a Hate Crime.

An arrest has been made in the assault on a mother of three and grandmother of 11 as she was walking on New York Ave. near Lefferts Ave. in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens on September 19th. Her assailant had punched her without warning about 5:30pm, leaving her unconscious on the sidewalk.
