A Call From the Heart by Mrs. Eva Sandler

My heart is broken. I am unable to speak. There are no ways for me to be able to express the great and all-consuming pain resulting from the murder of my dear husband Rabbi Jonathan and our sons, Aryeh and Gavriel, and of Miriam Monsonego, daughter of the dedicated principal of Ozar Hatorah and his wife, Rabbi Yaakov and Mrs. Monsonego.

May no one ever have to endure such pain and suffering.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — On Wednesday morning Shomrim received a call alerting them to a man who had stolen a sack of onions from Hadar Hatorah on Eastern Parkway. A confrontation on Kingston led to the discovery of a stolen pair of Tefillin and an assault earlier that morning. The man was hospitalized in a mental care unit.

Severe Danger to Children Lurks in Pesach Cleaning

This heart wrenching photo above of a 2-year-old boy is not the result of abuse Chas V’Shalom but of something far more inconspicuous. The parents of this boy sent us the photo, in hopes of warning other parents, telling us that this was result of the little boy getting his hands on a well known oven/grease cleaner.

“Start it Up” – CHYE – a Success!

Tuesday night, some 100 members of the Crown Heights community gathered in Nosson’s Shul for the second meeting of the Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs (CHYE) program. The evening’s theme, ‘Start It Up,’ focused on encouraging a startup ethic in Crown Heights Youth. Attendees were able to network with experienced businessmen and share ideas while enjoying catered food.

Men and Women Teachers Conference Annouced

The annual Kinus HaMechanchim will be held on Monday 25 Tammuz, July 16th and Tuesday 26 Tammuz. July 17th. This announcement came today from the Merkos Chinuch Office. The Kinus will be held at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Danbury CT, I hour 15 min Brooklyn. The women’s Kinus will be held at the DOLCE, Norwalk on 12-13 Tammuz, July 2nd and 3rd.
