Wounded Soldiers Arrive in NYC
This past Tuesday night, four hundred members of Chabad Israel Center of the Upper East Side’s community, joined ten IDF soldiers on a grand two hour cruise along the Hudson river. The Levaya will take place today, and will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadas Chapels at 2:00pm and passing by 770 at around 2:30pm.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Mrs. Sara Junik OBM (82) of Montreal, wife of Meir Yechezkel Junik OBM.
She was the daughter of R’ Shmuel Notik, of whom the Rebbe Rashab said, “He is one of my true chassidim”. She was imprisoned at the age of 17 years for several years together with her parents, because of her father’s Rabbinical position. She married R’ Meir Junik, who passed away 6 months ago, who was also imprisoned for 9 long years due to his Yiddishkeit. She remained behind the Iron Curtain where she married and raised her children to the highest levels of Chasidishkeit.
