This past Sunday Chabad of Little Neck, under the directorship of Rabbi Eli and Rivky Shifrin, welcomed its first Sefer Torah. The Siyum began at Yeshivah Har Torah with a procession to the Chabad House.
During Merkos Shlichus summer program the roving Rabbis, Moshe Frank and Berri spitezki, who are in South Korea, met this week with Mr. Thomas Kupfer the Swiss ambassador to South Korea who happens to be Jewish.
