Final preparations for the Kinus HaMechanchim, the annual men’s Chinuch conference, a project of the Merkos Chinuch Office, have been completed. The curriculum and the presenters have submitted their handouts, the programs have been printed and the venders are packing their wares.
In the Chinuch Office the Kinus kits are packed and crates have been sealed; now it’s pure anticipation. The Kinus will open Monday morning erev Rosh Chodesh Elul August 9th and continue through Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh, August 10th.
The dual themes at this year’s are “Midos Tovos Development” including “The Power of Words” and “Educational Technology” and its educational imperative as tool to reach all students. The first overreaching topic will be addressed by eclectic group of outstanding educational professionals, Roshei yeshiva and veteran Mechanchim.
Many other issues will addressed, debated and discussed in the many hours of formal sessions, group discussions and a late-night farbrengen.
The Kinus is to held at the the Radisson hotel in Piscataway, NJ. Registration for 48 hours of pure Chinuch, closes Friday. To register online or to view the program visit www.chinuchoffice.org, or call the office (718) 771-3930.
