The sounds of Jewish music was blasting loudly in the streets of Brighton Beach, as close to a thousand people celebrated the new Sefer Torah of the Chabad Neshama Center.
With tremendous pride and jubilation, a crowd of over 350 people gathered together to witness the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the New Chabad Jewish Center in Tacoma, Washington. The New Chabad Center, run by Rabbi Zalman and Miriam Heber, is a replica of 770 – Lubavitch World Headquarters.

Special Yud Beis Tammuz Program for Women
The Kinus HaMechanchos, the women’s Chinuch conference will take place at the DOLCE, Norwalk Connecticut on Monday and Tuesday 12-13 Tammuz, July 2nd and 3rd. As it is the Chag haGeula, day of liberation of the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe the program will feature Rabbi Alter ben Tzion Metzger at a special evening session.
1,500 Argentinians Pay Tribute to the Rebbe
On Monday June 11th (21st of Sivan), a diverse crowd of 1,500 people gathered at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center for an evening of Tribute to the Rebbe.
Montreal Boys Excited to Begin Learning Chumash
On Sunday two classes of Pre-1A in Tomchei Temimim Lubavitch of Montreal celebrated their annual Chumash Party. Rabbi Yosie Wilansky and Morahs Raitzel Wenger, Raizy Shteifel, Chana Delouya and Shternie Berkowitz prepared a beautiful and inspiring program, which was greatly enjoyed by the children, parents and grandparents.

Monsey Cheder Celebrates 13 Years, New Building
Music and singing, good food and wine, some laughs and many heartfelt moments were shared by all in attendance this past Sunday night as Cheder Chabad of Monsey celebrated its thirteenth anniversary banquet at the Sheraton Crossroads Hotel in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Sara Chana Silverstein, a Lubavitcher from Crown Heights and mother of 7, who specializes in areas of alternative medicine and herbs, was featured this morning on CBS in a segment about the natural way to repel bugs and heal mosquito bites.

New York City’s Jewish Population Is Growing Again
After decades of decline, the Jewish population of New York City is growing again, increasing to nearly 1.1 million, fueled by the “explosive” growth of the Hasidic and other Orthodox communities, a new study has found. It is a trend that is challenging long-held notions about the group’s cultural identity and revealing widening gaps on politics, education, wealth and religious observance.
Rabbi Mendel Jacobs, Rabbi of the Shul in the Park in Glasgow, Scotland, officiated at the wedding of David McGraddie and Leslie Goldinger, a Jewish couple who decided to have a traditional Chuppa and Kidushin despite their old age. Under the Chuppah, the groom wore a talis with the traditional Scottish Tartan fabric woven into the 'Crown.'

Students Volunteer to Help Terror Victims in Israel
Dozens of students from colleges across the United States arrived in Kfar Chabad, Israel in June as part of an exciting and stimulating Chabad on Campus IsraeLinks tour. They were accompanied by Rabbi Zalman and Yehudis Bluming and their family.
