DES PLAINES, IL — Hanukkah celebrates the restoration of the Temple in Jerusalem, so it was only fitting that the Chabad and F.R.E.E. of Niles synagogue celebrated its renovation Sunday during the last day of the holiday.

Property developer Harry Triguboff has stepped in to save Yeshiva (Sydney) from collapse by purchasing its two properties on Flood Street, Bondi, for $6 million. Triguboff will then lease the properties back to Yeshiva, Yeshiva College and other Chabad institutions for a peppercorn rent.

It is well-known that there is a group of thugs that parade around as Yeshiva Bochurim who terrorize and attack anyone who does not agree with their “shita.” Over the years there have been countless incidents, where they have verbally and physically attacked those that are not from their “camp.” Usually these attacks occur in 770.
