770 descended into chaos this morning after a group of fanatical zealots disrupted learning and Davening in the ‘big zal’. This incident has forced us to break from our editorial embargo on the weekly ‘Sunday Dollars’ phenomenon after shocking video revealed the calloused disregard for holy Seforim, and careless disruption of learning torah – all for the sake of receiving a dollar from the Rebbe.

Batman A Karkafta!

While visiting a terminally ill girl from his community, Shliach in Coral Springs Rabbi Avraham Friedman encountered the fictional character batman in the flesh, who was also visiting terminal patients and raising their sprits. Turns out he was Jewish, and a Karkafta as well.

In honor of his 25th Yarhrzeit, the 16th of Teves and the Yahrzeit of his wife, the 29th of Teves.

Hachossid Rabbi Eliyohu Moshe Liss was born in Nissan 1909, in the city of Dlugoshdola near Vishkov, Poland. Rabbi Liss was not able to verify his date of birth. On one occasion, he asked the Rebbe what date to commemorate. The Rebbe advised him that since Rabonim are considered kings, and the month of Nissan is considered the New Year for kings, therefore he should commemorate his birthday in Nissan.
