Hundreds of women and girls turned out Sunday night in support of Ten Yad, an organization which helps Kallahs. The event was held in the Razag Ballroom in Crown Heights, with a lavish food buffet, an auction viewing capped off by hilarious entertainment.

Building Plans Filed for 122 New Apartments
Plans for a seven story 129,724 square foot apartment building on S. Johns Place have been filed with the Department of Buildings, of which 83,789 will be residential and make up 122 apartments averaging around 650 square feet per apartment.
Vizhnitzer Rebbe Receives Unique Gift
Rabbi Hershel Lustig, principal of Oholei Torah, paid a visit to the Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Hager, who is currently residing in Crown Heights during an extended visit to the United States. The purpose of his visit was to gift ‘Reb Mendeleh’ a special sefer, which bears a connection between the two men.

A Crown Heights man’s car was stolen by two teenagers after he left it unattended with the keys in the ignition, but was able to track it down thanks to a built-in GPS system.

Rare Footage Triggers Childhood Memories
A video of rare footage showing the Rebbe as he walks to and from the Chabad library next door to 770 in 1985 was recently obtained by JEM, who edited and released it for the community to view. One of the children seen in the footage is Rabbi Mendy Krinsky, who narrates the video.
