With 9 Dead in Matthew’s Wake, Chabad Reaches Out

With nine people dead, 2 million homes without power, and extensive flooding and property damage from Florida to North Carolina, Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries reached out to their communities after the conclusion of the Jewish Sabbath to begin to assess the massive help that will needed. Hurricane Matthew continues to threaten the region with storm surges and torrential rains.

500 Gather to Celebrate Rosh Hashanah in Mexico

Rosh Hashanah brought a family reunion of sorts to Chabad Lubavitch of Playa del Carmen: The Jewish Center of the Riviera Maya in Mexico as 500 Jews, most of them strangers to one another, joined together for a holiday meal complete with round challahs, apples and honey, mouthwatering meats and lively conversation, complete with words of Torah.

A Special Man Brings Life and Spirit to Montreal Congregation

Chabad in N.E. London Hosts Whiskey Tasting

The Chabad Events Team (CET) supporting the social support services of Chabad across Essex, UK, held another of their very popular Whisky Tasting Evenings on Monday evening 19th September at their Chabad Buckhurst Hill branch.
