It is with much shock and great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Reb Avrohom Yeshaya Schtroks, of Morristown, NJ, at the age of 55. Update: The levaya will take place tomorrow, Monday, at 9:30 AM at Shomrei Hadas Chapels in Boro Park, and will pass by 770 at approximately 10:30 AM.
With sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Sholom Dovber Lipsker, OBM, of Kfar Chabad, Israel, after a prolonged illness. R’ Dov was the beloved owner of Kfar Chabad’s largest grocery store, and throughout his life he was much dedicated to providing the Kfar’s residents with quality kosher food.
With sadness we report the passing of beloved Chossid Rabbi Shimon HaKohen Friedman, OBM, at the age of 78. Rabbi Friedman was affectionately called “Shimon HaTzaddik” – a title widely believed to be given to him by the Rebbe.

With great sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Mendel Bartfield OBM at the age of 81. He was a longtime resident in Crown Heights and the president of Empire Shtibel.
He is survived by his wife Fruma, his children Yossi (Florida), Sara Denburg (Montreal, Canada), Aaron (Coral Springs, FL) and Issac (Crown Heights).
Yossi Melamed, who from the early 1970s spent hundreds of hours photographing the Rebbe at 770, has fallen in his home, and is now in a coma.
With shock and sadness we inform you of the passing of Yisroel, the infant son of Rabbi Shneur Zalman and Chana Gershovits, Shluchim to Bois-Colombes, France.
It is with great sadness and deep pain that we inform you of the tragic and untimely passing of young Ruchama Aliza Sara Chana Schwab of Miami, Florida at the age of 8. Four years ago we reported about Aliza’s tragic drowning in their family swimming pool, and her parents fight to keep her on life support. Yesterday she succumbed to an infection.

With great sadness and shock we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Yitzchok Zirkind, caring husband and father and respected Rov in our community, at the age of 57. Rabbi Zirkind served as a bookkeeper for Beis Rivka for many years, and was known for his kindness and genuine concern for all those around him.
With sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Zushe Rivkin OBM, of Kfar Chabad, at the age of 82. Rabbi Rivkin was active as a dedicated Chossid of the Rebbe, and would especially put much effort into helping people do Mivtza Tzedaka. Every day on his way to work in Tel Aviv, he would walk through the train and offer people a coin and a pushka, giving them the oppertunity to fulfill the mitzvah.
With sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Mendel Dovid Hackner OBM, of London, UK. He is survived by his children: Rabbi Shmuel Aryeh Hackner and Gila Hackner, and brothers: Reb Benzion Hackner (London, UK) and Reb Yonasan Hackner (Crown Heights). Shiva information to follow.
