CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Regency Cleaners and Gombos Bakery were both the victims of a robbery and an attempted robbery early this morning. The dry cleaner was broken in to and a charity box was stolen, while at the bakery the thief did not manage to get it, but he caused damage.

There’s the strange case of the policeman accused of long-term bullying who has been on fully paid leave for two years. It seems he’s lucky enough to have a doctor willing to declare his ”patient” unfit to face questions about the alleged offences. We hope the (alleged) bully’s victims are being looked after nearly as well.

Police Downplaying Crime, Refuse to File Crime Report

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Once again allegations are being raised concerning the NYPD’s persistent downplaying crime. Officers from the 71st Precinct responded to a call of a stolen purse last week on President Street, but the responding officers refused to file a crime report for robbery, and instead they only filed a report for ‘lost property’. Video surveillance captured the robbery, yet police still refuse to take interest in the incident.
