Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At around 10:15pm last night came the chilling calls for help from a patrolling Shomrim member saying that a pedestrian was struck by a bus and Hatzalah and 911 should be called. The member then began administering first aid to the victim and in attempt to stop the profuse bleeding he took his shirt off and used it.

Another Accident on Empire and Kingston

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — Today, Thursday at about 4 PM, a mini van attempted to turn onto Kingston Ave from Empire and was hit by a car coming from the opposite direction.

There were some children on the street corner waiting to cross, but BH the car missed the children, and no one was hurt.

Hit and Run on Carroll and Brooklyn

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — A small jeep speeding down Brooklyn Ave rear ended a parked van between Carroll and Crown. The incident took place yesterday, Sunday at around 7:00pm just as the rain intensified. Bystanders observed a Jeep Liberty speeding, losing control and swerving into a parked van.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL — A crane collapsed by Galt Ocean Drive in Ft. Lauderdale Saturday morning, crashing onto some power lines and damaging part of a synagogue.

The Chabad Lubavitch of Fort Lauderdale lost power due to the crane tipping over and snapping an electrical line providing power to the temple and other parts of the area.

Crossing Double Yellow Lines Causes Accident on Empire

Crown Heights, Brooklyn – Yesterday, Sunday, a car attempted to pull into a driveway on Empire Blvd between Albany and Troy coming from the opposite side and hit a passing minivan causing it to collide with a parked car.

B”H there were no injuries and there was no one passing on the sidewalk where the parked car was pushed into. Drivers need to take extra care in that area of Empire, it’s the most accident prone intersection in Crown Heights.

Drunk Driver Rear Ends Double Parked Car

Crown Heights, Brooklyn –- Today, about 5:30 PM, a red Chevy Malibu driven by a drunk driver, slammed into the rear of a double parked Mercedes. The incident took place on Lefferts Ave between Brooklyn and Kingston in the middle of the block.

Car Loses Door in Minor Accident

Crown Heights, Brooklyn – Erev Shabbos at around 2:45 in the afternoon a woman opened her car door and was struck by a passing transport van on Albany Ave between Eastern Parkway and Union Street.

Another Accident on Montgomery and Brooklyn

Crown Heights, Brooklyn – An attempt to ‘beat’ the light ends in a dangerous crash in the intersection of Montgomery and Brooklyn. At around 8:45pm a black Lincoln Aviator traveling down Montgomery St attempted to beat the light as it was turning red and was struck by a silver Minivan.

Accident on Montgomery and Brooklyn

Today, Friday at about 2 in the afternoon, a black Scion crashed into a white Ford on the corner of Montgomery St and Brooklyn ave. The driver of the white Ford Escort, an older woman from the community, was driving down Montgomery St, coming from New York Ave and crossing over the intersection with Brooklyn Ave without stopping for the red light, as a witness observed.

Hit n Run on Lefferts and Brooklyn

Crown Heights, Brooklyn –- Yesterday, Thursday at around 4:10 in the afternoon, a woman driving was rear ended by another vehicle. The incident took place on Lefferts Ave between New York and Brooklyn in front of Bais Rivkah, the woman slowed her minivan and was rear ended by another minivan.

Cyclist Struck on Brooklyn and Carroll

Crown Heights, Brooklyn –- A young teen riding his bike was struck by a car. The incident took place in the intersection of Carroll St and Brooklyn Ave at around 7:50pm in the evening. What appeared to have taken place was that the cyclist who was waiting for the light slightly in the street was struck by an oncoming car.

Yet Another Accident on Empire and Troy

Crown Heights, Brooklyn –- The intersection Empire Boulevard and Troy Avenue in Crown Heights has seen a lot of accidents in the last two years. We have recorded over 15 accidents, all of which had injured passengers and/or pedestrians (L”A) and significant damage sustained to the vehicles involved.

Today another incident took place; an accident between a Minivan which attempted to make a left turn from Empire onto Troy and was struck by an ambulette van who was going straight on Empire. The minivan had a driver and four passengers onboard and was struck in the passenger side door and sliding door. The impact caused the Minivan to come to rest on the sidewalk. BH there were no pedestrians hit.

Accident on Montgomery

Brooklyn, NY — At about 11pm Monday night a Israeli Bochur reversing into a driveway was hit by an oncoming car. The Israeli Bochur was driving a red mini van reversing into the driveway on Montgomery between Kingston and Albany aves, when the silver compact driven by a Black male hit him and went under his rear bumper, causing some significant damage to the compact.

The Rebbes Car Involved in an Accident

Earlier today at around 11:45am there was an accident involving the Rebbes car. The incident took place in the intersection of Troy and Carroll, the Cadillac was driving up Troy Ave when a dark gray 15 passenger van, driven by another Yid, ran a red light and was hit by the Cadillac.
