Another Accident on Montgomery and Brooklyn

Crown Heights, Brooklyn – An attempt to ‘beat’ the light ends in a dangerous crash in the intersection of Montgomery and Brooklyn. At around 8:45pm a black Lincoln Aviator traveling down Montgomery St attempted to beat the light as it was turning red and was struck by a silver Minivan.

The impact caused the SUV to make a 180 degree spin, and according to eyewitnesses, just narrowly avoiding all the parked cars while the Minivan came to rest in the bus stop on Brooklyn Ave.

Two bystanders that had witnessed the accident approached police and told them that they had witnessed the driver of the SUV take the red light.

911 was called and FDNY EMS responded along with police. An accident report was filled out and both drivers refused medical attention.

Less then a week ago another accident took place in this very same intersection with a driver taking a red light.

    I saw it too. The girl driving the minivan was very lucky. One foot further and it would have been a very serious accident. It was also incredible that the Navigator didn’t hit anything else. The woman driving it did not seem drunk at all – “saw it all” she was just trying to beat the light.

    the van was a yideshe lady she lookt shukenup but was fine the shvartse didnt look drunk at all she was just screning that the yid took the red light but all the by standers said the yid was rite and she the shvartse took the red light
