Over 2000 people joined the 54th annual Lag B’omer parade in Stamford Hill, organized by Lubavitch UK. Groups from Scotland, Manchester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Watford, Essex, Wimbledon, Southgate, North-West London, joined the many local families and children from Stamford Hill.
The Pittsburgh Jewish Community celebrates Lag B’Omer with a carnival event organized by Rabbi Chony Friedman and Rabbi Yisroel Altein of Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh and Chabad of Pittsburgh hosted in conjunction with Pittsburgh Jewish Day Schools.
Hosting one of the many Great Parades, S. Paulo Brazil got to be part of a worldwide Lag Baomer experience like no other.
On a normal day it’s mikvah bags, towels and rushing to be on time to chassidus after a good nights rest. But today is not a normal day. Today, those who made it to bed at all begin to stir early. They quickly finish their morning preparations and rush to join those who have been up all night. After a quick Davening and a danish, the day begins.
What a wonderful day it was, Lag Baomer – Sunday 28 April 2013. After much preparation and efforts from so many the day finally arrived. Celebration was in the air and the music was uplifting and exciting.
Following the Parade concernt and program the variuse schools, marching bands and float marched in the Lag Baomer Parade.
