Pittsburgh Community Celebrates Lag BaOmer
The Pittsburgh Jewish Community celebrates Lag B’Omer with a carnival event organized by Rabbi Chony Friedman and Rabbi Yisroel Altein of Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh and Chabad of Pittsburgh hosted in conjunction with Pittsburgh Jewish Day Schools.
Despite local road construction which forced cancellation of the planned parade, adults and children enjoyed a carnival at Community Day School with a horse drawn carriage, firetruck, moon bounce rides, face painting and BBQ.
