S. Paulo Hosts Worldwide Lag Baomer Parade
Hosting one of the many Great Parades, S. Paulo Brazil got to be part of a worldwide Lag Baomer experience like no other.
The Parade was conducted in front of one of the city’s impressive icons, the Pacembu stadium. 12 floats were presented each bringing to life one of the twelve pesukim.
Tomchei Tmimim of S. Paulo presented a marching band from their own very talented bochurim. The parade also featured acrobats, motorcycles, and a retro car besides the hundreds of students that marched together with the floats representing the Pasuk with themed dress.
After the formal parade all the children were invited to participate in a grand carnival that included rides, food, games and a grand dog show. The Parade was organized by Lubavitch School, Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim, Centro Novo Horizonte, and Beit Yaakob School in conjunction with all the local Batei Chabad.
Special thanks to Rabbi Moti Begun and Rabbi Mendi Koncepolski.
