Caterer Joins Relief Efforts With Hamentachen for Haiti

Popular Seattle, Wash., caterer Leah’s Catering and the Stroum Jewish Community Center have launched a Purim-themed fundraising drive to benefit earthquake relief in Haiti.

Called “Hamentachen for Haiti,” the project, which launched on Monday, will send 100 percent of profits from the sales of the traditional jam-filled holiday cookie to the Chabad Haiti Relief Fund operated by Chabad-Lubavitch of the Dominican Republic.
