LIVINGSTON, NJ [CHI] — An anniversary banquet, on behalf of the educational and social programs of the Chabad Center of Northwest New Jersey in Rockaway Township headed by Rabbi Asher and Sarah Herson , took place recently at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston.
In honor of Yud Shevat – Shishim Shana, the Vaad Hatmimim is planning a more elaborate program during the days of Yud Shevat. Anticipated by bochurim annualy, the Kinus Hatmimim has grown to be a phenomenal success. The Vaad has been working to keep the program inspirational and meaningful while retaining the extraordinary energy and koach that the Temimim feel during this special Kinus.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A Jewish woman who was on her way home this evening was stalked by a young punk who followed her on a bike, and at one point circled her a number times and taunted her.
Reports that a breakaway group from Melbourne Yeshiva had been ex-communicated have been denied by the Yeshiva’s Rabbi.
Alex Leonard is a member of Melbourne-based group Honk4Joy which believes that the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel who died in 1994, is the Messiah and that the thrid temple “is ready and waiting in heaven”.
