Improving on its record-breaking performance during last year’s Chanukah holiday, the Judaism website Chabad.org made this winter a season to remember.

Following the Colel Chabad Dinner earlier this month, Mr. Cory Booker, Mayor of Newark, NJ, went on a trip to Israel. As part of his visit, he went to celebrate and dance with 300 orphans at the Chesed Menachem Mendel/Colel Chabad Widows and Orphans Chanukah Retreat at the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem.
On the 3rd night of Chanukah, Chabad held it's first ever public menorah lighting at the Islington Green. Over one hundred participants enjoyed potato latkes, doughnuts and hot cocoa in a family friendly atmosphere.
