Kinus Banquet to Feature Rotating Center Stage

Preparations for the International Kinus Hashluchim of 5772 are well underway. As part of the Vaad Hakinus’s bid to enhance the experience for the thousands of Shluchim who will participate, an innovative idea was unanimously approved by the committee.

Imagine a Shliach travelling eagerly awaiting the Kinus for an entire year, travelling thousands of miles, making it to the banquet…and being stuck in a distant corner of the banquet hall.

Not anymore.

A circular, revolving podium will be placed at the very center of the ballroom, ensuring every guest will witness the proceedings up close.

“The Kinus is not merely a gathering of a collective group,” says Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz of the Vaad. “It is the coming together of individuals, each of whom is an integral part of the Rebbe’s mission. It is vital that each and every one appreciate their role in this tremendous event.”

    Its NOT A Good idea. I dont feel its safe for the people on the stage to be moved around.

    all these extravagant expenses for the kinus while there are shluchim really struggling? Why can´t they just make something nice and balebatish without going over the top? (and maybe giving the surplus to those shluchim who are struggling?)
