The German Minister of Family Affairs and youth, Dr. Kristina Schroder, visited the Chabad Kindergarten in Berlin to dedicate a new Nursery.

Four years ago, a unique partnership was developed between Crown Heights and Bensonhurst. Community leaders from Chabad realized that many students in their yeshiva system were not planning on continuing and obtaining smicha and would rather choose a career. There was a need to develop a framework which would allow them to earn the skills to make a respectable parnassah and raise families. Thus, the JTVS program at Bramson ORT College was created.

Being that this kind of death is a fact of many women's lives, and that silence and shame only exaggerate the pain, I am opening up about my own miscarriage, which occurred a little over two months ago.

Thousands Enjoy Jewish Family Festival in Chicago
Although Lag B’omer this year was on a Thursday, the Shluchim in Illinois joined together to capitalize on the success of last year’s event and once again produced the Great Jewish Family Festival.
