I am a member of the volunteer corps organized by Shomrim yesterday in search of Yakov Gourin, the missing French Twin. I penned this op-ed to describe the hardships we experienced over the uncertainty and conflicting reports that emerged from various news outlets over the course of the day, and the potential dangers posed by them.
Tire Thieves Strike Again
For the second time this month, thieves stole all four tires off a Crown Heights vehicle, leaving the car’s body ‘hanging’ on stacked bricks. The car was parked on the corner of Crown St. and Troy Ave.

We are pleased to report that as of 4:30 this morning Yakov has been found and is doing fine. It turns out that he just wanted to take a break from a long summer of hard work, and impulsively decided to leave for a few days vacation. He will return to Crown Heights in the near future.
