Pantin cemetery in Paris

French police reportedly are investigating fresh acts of vandalism in two Jewish cemeteries and a municipal building. On Monday in Paris, police arrested two men suspected of digging up two corpses at the Pantin cemetery, according to a statement from the municipality.

CNN reporter Sara Sidner profiled two children that were injured in the latest unrest in Gaza, where Hamas terrorized much of Israel. The children, 4-year-old Yosef Scharf who lost his mother Mira and was injured himself, and 8-year-old Bisan al-Aghram from Gaza who was injured.

Due to the severe backlogging of court cases caused by Hurricane Sandy, the hearing over the law requiring mohelim to obtain parents’ “informed consent” before performing metzitzah b’peh has been rescheduled for December 12. In the meantime, the temporary stay on the “consent” rule has been extended, with the government agreeing not to enforce this regulation until oral arguments are heard.
