Relief Efforts in Full Swing in Long Beach

It was unbelievable to see the outpouring of support that came from every corner of the world after Hurricane Sandy hit last week in Long Beach, NY. Help came in the form of monetary aid, clothing, food, shelter, gas, and a helping hand. Rabbi Eli and Beila Goodman, Shluchim to Long Beach, thank everyone for their contributions and support.

Flights into New York Canceled Ahead of Snowstorm

A Nor’easter is heading towards the Tri-State area; United Airlines is canceling flights ahead of the storm and other airlines are still evaluating which flights will be canceled on Wednesday and Thursday. The storm could dump as much as four inches of snow on hurricane weary New York City.
