It was unbelievable to see the outpouring of support that came from every corner of the world after Hurricane Sandy hit last week in Long Beach, NY. Relief Efforts in Full Swing in Long Beach

It was unbelievable to see the outpouring of support that came from every corner of the world after Hurricane Sandy hit last week in Long Beach, NY. Help came in the form of monetary aid, clothing, food, shelter, gas, and a helping hand. Rabbi Eli and Beila Goodman, Shluchim to Long Beach, thank everyone for their contributions and support.

They are pleased to report that they are moving forward and the clean-up efforts are in full swing.

Their office has been moved temporarily to Brooklyn.

They have set-up a 24-hour hotline to assist their sea-side community with supplies, assistance, financial aid and anything else needed.

The soup kitchen, along with another local Shul, is working round the clock to provide hot meals for those affected by the hurricane.
