A Brooklyn grand jury has indicted the hit-and-run driver who killed an expectant couple and their unborn child on three counts of manslaughter, the Brooklyn District Attorney said today.

On the heels of forming the 33rd Knesset, Lubavitcher askonim visited the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his office and gave him Matzos. They also informed him that the Rebbes birthday is this week, to which he responded “the Rebbe’s directives still guide me”.

Man Clings to Life After Crashing Into Tree Outside Ohel
An SUV plowed into a tree right outside the Ohel in Queens and the driver had to be cut free from the wreckage. When the driver was finally freed he was rushed to the hospital in ‘traumatic arrest’. UPDATE: Tragically the driver died, police say weather played a factor in the crash.

Thailand Island Chabad House Makes Room for More
When international businessman Seth Schreiber heard about the dedication of a new Chabad-Lubavitch center in Koh Samui, Thailand, he rearranged his schedule to make sure he could attend. That’s how he found himself arriving fashionably late for services on a recent Friday night, hearing a thunderous “Amen!” from 700 Jews who had come together for the celebration, which included a festive Shabbat dinner. In fact, the crowd was so large they had to have multiple seatings, and Schreiber didn’t get back to his hotel until midnight.
