Oholei Torah Honors 77th Precinct Officers

At a recent event, the Educational Institute Oholei Torah honored their local 77th Precinct for the ongoing assistance and friendship. Community Affairs officer Tania Salters accepted the award and a US Congressional Citation signed by Congresswoman Yvette Clarke.  Mr. Charles Jackson, District Representative for Congresswoman Clarke, came specially to make the presentation.

Teachers, Friends Gather to Remember Gedalia Greenzayd

A memorial in honor of the first Yahrzeit of Gedaliah Greenzayd, who was tragically killed one year ago by a snow plow on Kingston Ave., was held at The Rabbinical College of America this past Thursday night. Taking place in the Berger Auditorium, the room was full of his former classmates, as well as many who never even had the opportunity to meet him.
