Largest Crowd Ever Attends New Haven Menorah Lighting
Sunday night, the first night of Chanukah, saw the largest crowd ever attend the annual Public Menorah Lighting in New Haven, located at the New Haven Green, in the heart of Yale University.

An Historic Chanukah in Tasmania
Chanukah on the Australian island of Tasmania saw an unprecedented slew of programs and Mivzoyim. A crowd of around 80 joined the public Menorah lighting outside the historic Launceston Synagogue for its 5th annual Menorah lighting.

After his house caught fire from a Menorah candle last Motzei Shabbos, the brave firefighters of the FDNY rushed to the scene and extinguished the flames, preventing any human injury and extensive financial loss. Today, Rabbi Mendel Goldstein hosted two fire marshals in his home to personally thank them, and gave them a ‘babka’ cake, which they had mentioned that they loved.
